Top 10 Favorite Black Movies
I love movies! Watching movies is one of my favorite pastimes. Here are some of my all-time favorite Black Movies in order by the year they were released. I could have added two dozen more easily, but these are definitely some of my favorites. Please click on the links to learn about the movies if you have not seen them. Here is my list for some of my all-time favorite Black television shows. I could easily add another ten television programs to this list but I am trying to follow my #BlogBlHistory instructions and leave it at my top ten black television shows.  The shows on my list appear in no particular order.

  1. Girlfriends (2000-2008). The cast included Tracee Ellis Ross, Golden Brooks, Jill Marie Jones, Persia White and Reggie Hayes.
 
  1. The Cosby Show (1984-1992). Bill Cosby, Phylicia Rashad, Lisa Bonet, Tempestt Bledsoe, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Sabrina Le Beauf, Raven Symoné and a ton of fabulous guest stars.
 
  1. A Different World (1987-1993). The cast included Lisa Bonet, Jasmine Guy, Kadeem Hardison, Dawnn Lewis, Cree Summer, Darryl M. I like so many songs if I did a more complete list of soul songs I like I would be listing my top 100 instead…LOL. But these are absolutely some of my beloved jams! These songs are not in order by the way. Yes I do love a lot of old school R&B. I didn’t include gospel or hip hop on this list.
